I havn’t been Raw Vegan for very long, but I am already enjoying the benefits.  I’ve been on a Raw Vegan diet for about 2 weeks now and it is my best effort after a number of previous attempts, so this time around, I already knew how to make some of the basics and expand into a few more gourmet meals.  This is what I am having for lunch today -
Corn Chips (rather large)
Corn from 3 corn cobs
1/2 onion
1/4 cup of linseed
1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
Method:
Put it all in a blender until smooth, then spread out and dehydrate into any shape you like.  My dehydrator is round, so this is them cut up into 8 pieces.
I’m also going to be enjoying a salad which includes beetroot, red cabbage and onion, almonds, pine nuts and parsely. And a rich tomato/chilli chutney to have with the Corn Chips.  Simple and lovely.

I made these raw vegan pizzas this morning, the bases I had already prepared.  This is just an undercoat of raw pizza style base, raw tomato paste, mushrooms, olives and spices, going to spread some avocado and spinach on top and then I’ll probably eat it.

Raw chocolate cake and rice paper wraps complete the shots.

I’m making some really cool raw #vegan stuff.  This is flax, chia, sunflower seed, pumpkin seed and wheatgerm dehydrated for a few hours (it still isn’t finished) and will make a perfect base for a pizza, if I ever get around to it.  I am thinking I’ll use one of them to make pizza, the rest are for salad sandwiches and snacking.  This stuff is so cheap to make and so good for you, if you wanted to buy it at a health food store you’d be paying for packaging, transport and all of those other markups because hardly anyone makes it.  But really the three rounds that I’ve made cost me barely anything, maybe the chia seeds which are more expensive than the other ingredients, but the tomatoes are home grown!

The other pictures are my lettuces and of my refrigerator, except for the vegemite (go aussie!) and the margerine, it’s pretty much just raw or live foods.

This was lunch just before I rode head first into town for the zombie apocalypse #vegan - Paratha bread, coconut cream, spinach and mushrooms done in a garlic style hash up.
